About Us

Avington was setup by me, Ben, as a result of 20 years of working in the television and film industry thinking 'if only' specific pieces of kit were made differently.  So now they are and I hope you like them.  

The key concept is that other manufacturers are too large to accommodate the very niche requirements we have so they don't bother.  I do.  Avington was setup in 2015 and has been selling all over the world ever since.  I've worked, and am working, on my own ideas and have had commissions.

I continue to work as a freelance sound recordist based out of London.
