Smart Battery Distribution System for Sound Devices 888

This is a smart battery slot in holder with ten power outputs, one on TA4 carrying smart battery data, in two groups with main and subgroup switches.  There’s a colour displaying showing battery time remaining as well as battery wear data.  This is screwed to your Sound Devices 888 adding only 31mm to the depth.

The Smart Battery Distributor is designed for the smart batteries from Audioroot, Inspired Energy, Sound Devices, RRC and others.  It combines a battery holder and battery distribution system (BDS) all in one with a data screen that gives running time and battery condition information not given by other manufacturers.  All battery data is passed on to the mixer.  The unit screws to the two top lugs of a Sound Devices 888 providing a secure and tidy setup for your bag or trolley.  

There is no other device currently on the market that tells you how worn out your batteries are.

This is a BDS (Battery Distribution System) or should that be SBDS (Smart Battery Distribution System)?

Yes the photos show mainly the 833 version.  The last picture is a snap of the 888 version, when I get this version photographed professionally this will be updated but for now rest assured that this is the version for the 888, which is nearly identical to the 833 one!
